Heinen
received her training at the Folkwang School in Essen, Germany. She studied
repertoire and composition with Jean Cébron
and became his assistant. She has been invited to dance for Pina Bausch, Susanne
Linke and Felix Ruckert. After arriving in France, she performed for the company
Blanca Li, and danced also for Marilèn Breucker, Luc
Petton, Laura Simi & Damiano Foà, Laura Scozzi, Renate Pook. In
2002, in collaboration with Enrico Tedde, she created the company Blicke,
currently based in Strasbourg. Together, the choreographers have premiered
a dozen new works.
Heinen’s pedagogy is based in the fundamentals of the German school
(Jooss-Leeder Method, based on principles of Rudolph Laban and developed by
Jean Cébron). Heinen has been invited to teach dance at the Ecole
Supérieure CNDC d’Angers, the Ballet du Nord
– Roubaix, the Atelier de Paris – Carolyn Carlson,
the Pacifique/Cie Christiane Blaise in Grenoble, the Defedem
of Nantes, Danse au cœur in Chartres, Danse
in Lille, the CNR in Strasbourg, the Ecole
de la Scala de Milan in Italy, the Conservatoire Supérieur
El Barco in San José, Costa Rica and she teaches regularly
at the Centre National de la Danse (CND) in both Paris and
Lyon, as well as at the Ménagerie de Verre in Paris.
